This outlines my social media and online presence policy and how you can expect me to respond to any interactions we may have online.

Unfortunately I am unable to accept friend or follow requests from any current or past clients on any of my personal social networking accounts including, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedln etc. I will also not send any friend or contact requests to my clients on any of these sites. I will also not communicate with clients through these sites.

If I notice that we have accidentally established a relationship online, I will cancel this relationship to protect both our privacy, and our therapeutic relationship.

During our first session together we will also discuss how you would like me to interact with you should we see each other in a public place.

I do have Social Media Business pages under the name Caitlin Buckler Counselling & Psychotherapy where I will share my blogs, updates, useful tools, talks and events etc. If you decided to follow me, please be aware that any interactions and follow lists are visible to the public. I am unable to respond or interact with clients on these pages but please feel free to discuss with me in person anything to do with my business pages or items that I post on social media.

If you need to contact me between sessions, please feel free to text me, email or WhatsApp. do so by email, WhatsApp or text message.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes as the internet and technology is always changing. I will however notify clients in writing if this policy is updated.

I understand that you may want to use search engines to look me up and I would encourage you to discuss with me anything that may come up as a result of this and any impact you may be feeling from it.
